EPC Contract of DUMA 132KV/40MVA Substation Project Signed

On March 6, the EPC contract of DUMA 132KV/40MVA substation project in South Africa was officially signed. CSEEC Vice President Luan Xiang on behalf of EPC contractor and the investor representative Mr. Wu Wensheng signed on the contract.

The DUMA 132KV/40MVA substation project islocated in the city of Lydenburg, Thaba Chweu, Ehlanzeni Province, SouthAfrica. It mainly solves the power supply issue of Lydenburg under Thaba Chweu, and supplies power to the new development zone. The project is invested and built under PPP model between investors and the local Government of Thaba Chweu, and will actively boosts the local economy growth.

Following the EPC contract of 100MW combinedcycle power station in Sabah, Malaysia and the EPC contract of Nishat 46MW coal-fired power plant in Pakistan, the South African EPC project is another breakthrough of CSEEC in overseas electricity market that heralds the entry of CSEEC into African market.
