SINOMEC Actively Participates in the 9th International Charity Sale of "Love Knows No Borders"

On October 29, the 9^th International Charity Sale of “Love Knows No Borders” sponsored by Ms. Qian Wei, the wife ofChinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi was held in Beijing Workers’ Stadium. SINOMEC was invited to attend the event and received an award. The theme of charity sale is “jointly building a health home of Yunnan”. The raised charity fund would be used by China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation (CFPA) to build clinics in Malipo County, Wenshan Prefecture and Jinping County, Honghe Prefecture of Yunnan Province. It was roughly estimated the total charity fund amounted to around CNY 4 million.

The opening ceremony was attended by Foreign Minister Wang Yiand over 140 representatives of embassies and international organizations in Chinaand their wives, and 77 embassies and international organizations in China and 20 Chinese-funded enterprises and institutions set exhibition halls on thesite. Totally 15,000 people attended the event by online and on-site purchaseof tickets.
