SINOMEC and Maoming Government Sign a Cooperation Agreement on Hydrogen Energy

On December 20, SINOMEC and MaomingMunicipal People’s Government signed a cooperation agreement on hydrogen energyproject. The signing ceremony was attended by Li Hongjun, Secretary ofMunicipal Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of theMunicipal People's Congress, Xu Zhihui, Vice Secretary of Municipal PartyCommittee and Mayor, SINOMEC Senior Vice President Li Yang, Director ofHydrogen Energy Business Mu Huaiping and other executives and leaders.

Under the joint efforts of SINOMEC, Beijing Aerospace Propulsion Institute and theInstitute of Nuclear and New Energy Technology (INET) of Tsinghua University,the project develops the hydrogen fuel cell and system integration of ownedintellectual property rights that provides the hydrogen cell vehicles andlong-distance drones in China with a One-Stop service platform coveringhydrogen fuel cell, system integration, hydrogen supply and operation ofhydrogen refueling stations, and thus promotes the zero-emission hydrogenenergy to an era of scale-up application.

The signing of cooperation agreement heralds anew stage of cooperation. Both sides will take this opportunity to deepencooperation and build a complete industry chain of hydrogen energy, which willturn the city of Maoming into an implementer and important development platformof national strategy.
