SINOMEC and Xinjiang Energy Sign a Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement

In the morning of June 14, SINOMEC and Xinjiang Energy Co., Ltd. held the signing ceremony of a comprehensive cooperation agreement in Urumqi. The representatives of both sides, SINOMEC CEO Zhu Haixing and Xinjiang Energy Secretary of the Party Committee and ChairmanLi Jianjun signed on the comprehensive cooperation agreement. The signing ceremony was attended by SINOMEC Senior Vice President Chen Buning, SINOMEC Northern General Manager Tan Zhongyi, Xinjiang Energy Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager Wu Hua and the leaders of other relevantentities like Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Thirteenth Division, LS Group, Sino-Heavymach, etc.

Xinjiang Energy Group is the platform of strategic management, resource control and asset operation of Xinjiang Autonomous Region that mainly deals in resource reserve (including coal, oil,gas, etc.), exploration, development and science research of coal resource, transport, sale and logistics of coal, mining franchise investment attraction and financing, foreign investment and project cooperation, etc.

The signing of cooperation agreement symbolizes SINOMEC further integration of resource and industry strength in Hami region that strongly promotes the energy transition into green chemical inXinjiang. It is a firm step of SINOMEC to build the largest demonstration base in China of clean and efficient conversion and utilization industry of low-rankcoal by quality and grade.
