Maoming MTO Plant Project

The project is an important project for cooperation between the Maoming Municipal Government and SINOMEC. The first phase of the project has a MTO production capacity of 600,000t/y, covering an area of 544 mu, with a total investment of about RMB 5.5 billion. It can produce 300,000 tons of ethylene, 300,000 tons of propylene and 30,000 tons of by-product C4 and C5 each year with an annual output value of about RMB 6 billion in normal production. An area has been reserved for the development of the second and third phases. The project will have an annual ethylene and propylene output of 1.8 million tons.
