Sinogy Beitun Power Project

The 2×660MW ultra-supercritical project, located in Tunnan Industrial Park, is owned and operated jointly by SINOMEC and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps 10th Division State-owned Assets Management Co., Ltd., with its construction commencing in February 2015.

The project enjoys a superior geographical position and is surrounded by abundant coal resources, with the water source 7km away from the site, and the planned substation for Wubei-Zhunbei 750kV Transmission Line, Xiazi Substation, 14km away. Zhunbei is also the starting point of the planned China-Pakistan ±1100 transmission line. The project will provide safety support for the 750kV power transmission project, and the Wubei-Zhunbei transmission line and China-Pakistan transmission line could absorb the power generation of the project.
